The Foundation seeks unrestricted funds to be used where most needed among their many priorities.
The Foundation contributes to the development and operations of other IESE activities, including the introduction of new hybrid, blended, and online technologies for teaching and campus development.
The Foundation has a line of work in development cooperation through solidarity projects, in the areas of health, business and education. The most important aid is to the African continent. Annual campaigns are promoted at Christmas time to raise funds to support this type of initiative, especially in support of the African continent.
The Foundation also works in collaboration with IESE Africa Initiative and the Strathmore University Community Service Center, to help reduce poverty in Africa by facilitating access to education, for example in Kibera (Nairobi, Kenya), the largest slum area in Africa, estimated to have one million inhabitants and facing a multitude of issues related to ethnic clashes, unemployment, violence and diseases caused by a lack of hygiene.
